Grip-iTs Review

As a member of LootCrate I get the opportunity to receive some awesome products. One of these products I received recently was a package of Grip-iTs containing a blue pair and a black pair. Just what the hell are Grip-iTs you ask? Simple. They are covers for the analog thumb sticks of your controller of choice. The good thing about these is that they fit Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4 controllers. This means if you have multiple consoles you don't have to order a different type for each one. The whole purpose of these covers is to combat the whole sweaty thumbs situation that occurs when you play a game for a long period of time. I know that when I play for hours on end I eventually have to worry about my thumbs sliding off the analog sticks. When I saw this product in my LootCrate I was excited to give them a try. It took a few days before I had a chance to really sit down and game for an extended time. When I finally did I opened the package hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. Putting them on was easy enough and with them securely in place I began to play. Right away I noticed a difference in the way the controller felt and how comfortable they were. The true test came when I had been playing for a few hours. At the point that I normally would have started having problems I noticed I was problem free. My grip was just as good as it had been when I first picked up my controller and my thumbs didn't hurt. I have since played a few more times for extended periods of time and have had the same experience. I think it is safe to say that the product does as it says it will and I am now a fan of the company. I plan on ordering a pink pair soon!

Here is a picture of what they look like on the controller.

They are available in single packs which include 4 covers for $4.99 and double packs which include 8 covers for $9. These are available at many retailers including Fry's, Hastings, GameStop, and Walmart. They also have larger packs available through their online store. They have a variety of colors available as well. You may visit their website by clicking here.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation Review

I am always searching for a new foundation that works for my skin. I have combination skin that is typically either extremely oily or extremely dry. Because of this foundation usually either looks cakey or flakey. I also typically shine like a spotlight before my day is over. I decided to try this foundation out on a day when I had errands to run after a morning class and then work so I knew I would be out all day. The first thing I noticed when I started to apply it was that I could apply it with my fingers and it didn't get streaky. It blended well and the coverage was amazing. I didn't have to use a lot of product to get the coverage I wanted and it had the matte finish I like. When it was time to leave for the day I grabbed the foundation and some makeup remover wipes and tossed them in my purse in case I needed to reapply it. Typically halfway through my day I am shiny or need to remove the foundation because of the cakey look. Luckily with this product I didn't need to do that. My makeup was still flawless when I went to work and my coworkers even complemented how radiant I looked. Even after a full busy day the foundation still looked like it had when I first applied it. I am now in LOVE with this product. I also love how light it feels on my skin. This product is definitely my new go-to. I highly recommend this product to everyone especially those who have problems finding a foundation that does not get shiny.

INFLUENSTER!!!

So for a few months now I have been a member of Influenster.com and have loved it. For anyone who doesn't know what that is it is a product testing company. They put together these boxes called VoxBoxes which contain multiple products for you to try if you are in the testing demographic for them. The products they send out are always amazing and free. The only thing they ask of you is to spread the word on your social networks about how you feel about the products you received. They aren't looking for sugarcoated answers like some companies do either. They actually want a real opinion! Well today I received an email from them telling about their newly revamped website. They changed a ton of stuff around and so far I am loving it. I am still getting the hang of how the badge points work and things like that but I will let you all know more as soon as I get it all mastered. Haha. Anyone who would like an invite to sign up let me know your email address and I will send you one!

I really haven't used this much lately.

I know I haven't used this lately and I should. I will probably revamp it after I post this and make it more about my gaming and public life than it was originally made out to be. I will be deleting the original posts I had on here since they no longer describe me. I'll do a new and improved introduction soon.
